Jennifer Barcellona

Jennifer has been involved in a multitude of sports throughout her career.  She competed in cross country, basketball, and track and field.  She was a High School All-American in the women’s high-jump. She continued her track and field career on a scholarship to The University of Connecticut.

Graduating with a Bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies, Jennifer continued on to get her teaching certificate. After 12 years in the classroom, she now shares her passion of all things active as a Physical Education teacher at a K-8 school in Surprise, Arizona. She continues to encourage athletes of all ages and is the coach for the middle school cross country team.

Upon moving to Arizona in 2013 and meeting Arrick Nietert, (another amazing Endurance Company coach) Jennifer began competing in triathlons. She has placed in the top of her age group for all distances up to the half-iron distance, and most recently completed her first full distance Ironman this past July.  Jennifer has continued to branch out her areas of running experience to include a sub 22 hour 100 miler and multiple ultra distance trail races. As a newbie to the cycling world, she placed 2nd in the AZ Cycling State Championships.

Jennifer understands the juggling act that can often be a reality with a full work schedule and lofty personal goals. Jennifer will guide you to reach your personal goals while maintaining peace of mind and balance in all things.

Jennifer likes to work with adults and kids who are new to triathlon and are excited about learning and improving.
