Carrie began working in the Corporate Wellness field at Quincy Medical Group (QMG).  She researched, created, implemented and established the first ever Corporate Wellness program at QMG.  As wellness grew at QMG, Carrie worked to promote corporate wellness at other local businesses.  Wellness was a field growing at a rapid rate as companies worked to implement effective programming.  In it’s infancy wellness programming centered around participation based wellness programs.  But as many companies failed to see changes within their populations, wellness began to make some dynamic shifts.  Innovative programming, creative solutions and strategic interventions that followed science began to emerge.

Carrie and Joe created Wellness Data Solutions LLC (WDS), which serves as a third party wellness vendor specifically designed to meet the unique needs of employers of any size interested in reducing their lifestyle disease risk.  WDS focuses on the science behind reducing population lifestyle disease risk as a way to create healthier work-forces. WDS provides employers with the necessary tools to quantify disease risk, increase engagement within their work sites, and educate employees about how to improve their health, reduce lifestyle disease risk, and consequently contain and/or reduce health care costs.

Carrie is a certified Corporate Wellness Specialist with the Corporate Health and Wellness Association, Certified Health and Wellness Coach from WellCoaches School which meets 2017 National License requirements,  and as a Lifestyle Coach with the CDC’s Diabetes Prevention Association.  She is a member of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Counseling Association.
